Just like the forbidden fruit, a tea full of temptations. Inspired by mulled wine, this fragrant tea can be naughty or nice.

Ingredients: Assam Black Tea, vanilla, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, ginger, accented by hearty apple, orange peel and cherry bits.

Health Benefits: Melange of warm spices and malty Assam tea makes it a perfect winter tea. Perfect to cure winter chills and rid you of stress and tardiness. Each ingredient has its own healing properties. Overall, a good tea to boost your immune system and add to your daily dose of antioxidants and nutrients.

Caffeine content: High

Origin of tea: Assam, India

Available as: 100g loose leaf / 15 tea bags

Taste notes: Smooth, fruity and balanced. Makes an intense, dark brew. Reminiscent of a rich, indulgent plum cake.

Serving Suggestions: Pairs well with cheese toast, carrot cake, and dark chocolate desserts. We like it hot, without milk and with a hint of sweetener. Makes a great base for cocktails and mocktails.

Brewing instructions:

Add 1 teaspoon or 1 tea bag per cup (150ml). Always pour hot water (100°C) on the tea leaves and not the other way around. Steep for 3-4 minutes. All our teas in tea bags or loose leaf can be rebrewed. Just add hot water and steep for longer than the first steep

Storage advice: Store in the foil pouch in the tea tin or transfer to an airtight container, kept in cool dark place. If not consumed immediately teas should be stored in the refrigerator.

If storing in the refrigerator/ freezer, pack in small completely airtight packets or jars. Before use, wait for the tea to reach room temperature to prevent any condensation.
