Dr. Gyanesh Mishra
Dr. Gyanesh Ranjan Mishra is a skilled sculptor, painter, and potter with expertise in traditional art forms like Patta painting, Thangka painting, and advanced ceramics. He holds an honorary doctorate from the International University of Colombo. His works, including sculptures like "Heads" and "Mother and Child," utilize gold to emphasize beauty over function, skillfully blending traditional and modern techniques. Mishra's art reflects the rich heritage of Odisha, and through his Mati Phula Foundation, he supports traditional crafts like Dhokra casting. His work seamlessly merges nature-inspired designs with exceptional craftsmanship, preserving cultural traditions while innovating contemporary art forms.
