Roopa Kangovi
Hi! I'm Roopa. My life has been a journey of self discovery, and I have remained a student all my life. Having tried my hand at architecture, pottery, ceramic sculptures, carpentry, traditional arts, I have realised that all creative pursuits Spring from the same fountainhead. There is a common thread running through all the arts, crafts and designs. Any work of art for that matter is a frozen moment that has been experienced by an artist during the act of exploration. It can be about the reaction, musing over a subject or even an innocent gesture! It could be an urge to simplify in this seemingly chaotic world. Hence, my art practice not only embodies ideas that are given a form in the process but also every step is reflected in the final presentation.
